Evony adds a new duty general, Sargon I, as a Military Academy Officer, during 2025 St. Patrick’s Day events. Read this guide to learn about his strength, duty-related info, how to obtain him, how he compares to Justinian I, and his usage.
The Background of Sargon I
In the fertile lands of Mesopotamia, a hero rose like a shining star, Sargon I, the iron-willed conqueror who forged the Akkadian Empire through strength and wisdom, achieving legendary conquests.
From an early age, Sargon displayed unparalleled ambition and military genius. In the 24th century BC, he seized power in a daring coup, overthrowing the King of Sumer. With his unstoppable leadership, he swept across the land, conquering Elam, Marhashi, and more, establishing an empire stretching from the Mediterranean to the Persian Gulf.
From humble beginnings, Sargon shattered the old world’s barriers, earning the blood and loyalty of his people. To them, he was not just a king, but the embodiment of courage, wisdom, and divine will.
Though his empire disintegrated after his death, his name remains immortalized in history as a lasting example for future rulers. Sargon’s legacy endures through the ages and never fades.

[Note: A = attack; D = defense; all data units in the table above are %]
It can be seen that Sargon I’s gains to the 4 types of troops are relatively even, and his gains to infantry and cavalry are better than Justinian I’s. Also, his gain effect on attacking troops is good.
Justinian I mainly gains archers and siege equipment in the city, which is better than Sargon I in this aspect. Besides, he is also better against enemy debuffs.
The two have different advantages, so you can choose according to your actual needs.
