Based on the plot of Evony’s 8th Anniversary event, Lucilla is another hero who is as great as Narcissus. According to the setting, she is also a great infantry (ground troop) general. Also, her combination with Narcissus can provide the best infantry buff so far. Lucilla’s acquisition method is relatively special, and she can be combined with many generals. Please read on to learn more about this general.
General Background Introduction
Lucilla, the Roman princess and later empress, was a figure who combined her father’s wisdom and her mother’s beauty, making her shine like a gem in the imperial court. But her life was never destined to be one of the mere luxuries. Raised in the splendor of Rome, Lucilla craved something deeper than the titles and honors bestowed upon her.
After her father, Emperor Marcus Aurelius, passed, her brother Commodus took the throne. His reign, marked by cruelty and madness, plunged Rome into darkness. Refusing to watch the empire collapse under his tyranny, Lucilla resolved to lead a rebellion for justice.
In 198 AD, she joined forces with senators loyal to Rome’s virtues, intent on overthrowing her brother. However, their plot was discovered, and Lucilla’s fate was sealed. She was exiled to the distant island of Capri, stripped of her former glory. Even in exile, though, she maintained her dignity and courage, forever remembered as a symbol of bravery and defiance against oppression, her legacy immortalized in the annals of Roman history.

Lucilla vs. Suchet/Miltiades/Totila
Narcissus has the highest overall bonus to ground troops, so it isn’t very meaningful to compare Lucilla with him.
We have selected some other infantry generals that can be compared with her and compared them in the following table.
General | Ground Attack | Ground Defense | Ground HP | March Size | |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Main General | Lucilla | 191 | 120 | 130 | 16 |
Suchet | 176 | 80 | 165 | 17 | |
Miltiades | 170 | 120 | 140 | 14 | |
165 | 135 | 120 | 16 | ||
Assistant General | Lucilla | 131 | 85 | 95 | 16 |
Suchet | 126 | 65 | 95 | 11 | |
Miltiades | 115 | 90 | 100 | 6 | |
Totila | 115 | 100 | 85 | 6 |
Overall, we recommend you use Lucilla as the assistant general. The reasons are as follows:
- As a main general, although her attack bonus is high, her HP gain is not as good as Suchet, and the difference is not small. But as an assistant general, she is very good in terms of both attack and march size capacity. And her defense and HP are not much different from other generals.
- In addition, Lucilla’s acquisition methods are limited and not easy, so we think it is difficult to ascend her.
However, if you can collect enough fragments for ascending, you can also consider her as the main general.
Therefore, in the combinations of the table below, we didn’t restrict her position, but only considered the maximum buff value that can take effect when attacking.
